Answering a Second Call

VorTech phone systems give you the ability to place a call on hold to answer a second call. When a second call comes in, a beep will sound, notifying you of the new caller. Two options will show up at the bottom of the screen on your phone, allowing you to accept or reject the call. If you accept the call, the first caller will be placed on hold until you press the button to resume the call. If you reject the call, the second call will continue to ring at other locations in the system before going to voicemail.

If you need to place the second call on hold and return to the first call, press the swap button. This will place the second call on hold and reconnect the first caller.
