When your phone system is first installed, you will need to record three messages for each mailbox in the system: an unavailable message, a busy message, and your name. Many of our customers have found it useful to write out their message before recording it. The following are some sample scripts we typically recommend:
- You’ve reached the voicemail of [name]. I am currently unavailable or on the other line, but if you leave your name, number, and a brief message, I will return your call as soon as possible.
- Thank you for calling [company name]. We are unable to answer your call at the moment, but if you leave your name, number, and a brief message, we will return your call as soon as possible.
You may also feel the need to re-record or listen to your voicemail messages at some point. From any phone in the system, follow the steps below to record or listen to your chosen message.
