Today I will be showing you how to transfer a call directly to voicemail. You may use this option if you know someone is out of the office or unavailable to take a call.
To transfer to voicemail while a call is active, press the transfer key, and then either dial ** and press the name of the extension you wish to transfer to, or dial ** and the extension number. As soon as the call timer starts counting, you may hang up the phone, and the transfer to voicemail will be complete.
